What To Expect In A Session The client remains fully clothed during the session and may be asked to sit, stand or lie on a massage table depending on which area is being worked on. There is no manipulation, just a gentle laying-on of hands. If the client has specific issues, injury, pain etc. then that is where the work concentrates. Hands are placed lightly over the area to be treated and then, if and when the pain or sensation moves (which is often the case) the hands will follow. In this way the pain is 'chased' until it's gone completely. It is common to feel warmth, cold or a tingling sensation in the area being treated but some people feel nothing at all. Most people feel very relaxed during and after receiving treatment. Each session lasts from 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours which includes the initial consultation and an hour of Quantum-Touch energy healing. I ask clients to refrain from wearing scented products in order to maintain a fragance-free environment. The effects from the session continue for up to seven days afterwards and it is important to drink lots of water during this time to flush out toxins released and take the time to rest if your body requires it. |
